……..Looking back 10 years ago today, you and I have met in the heart of Thai Town Hollywood. At a little sweet shop named “BHAN KANOM THAI” aka “BKT” which was filled with the love and pride of Thailand.
“Bhan” means “House”
“Kanom” means “Sweet” or “Desserts”
In full it means “House of Thai Desserts” or one of my friends called it a “Thai Sweet House” Whichever you prefer it will still be “Bhan Kanom Thai” in Thai language.
Traditional Thai desserts have always been an important part of Thai culture. They reflect loving, caring, patience and an enjoyable way of life in Thailand. Unfortunately, we are not able to bring all of the ingredients such as fresh flowers and leaves that are used as natural colors and aroma. We do try our best to keep the authenticity of great tastes and original presentation on our desserts.
We would like to thank all of our customers who have been with us for so many years and who recommend “BKT” to friends and families. Without your support, we wouldn’t be here today.
